Case Study — "The Apprentice" 2025
At Bespoke Moving Solutions, no two jobs are ever the same — and that’s exactly how we like it. While we’re best known for helping homeowners and businesses with removals and secure storage, we also thrive on specialist projects that demand creativity, reliability, and a keen eye for detail. One such opportunity came when we were approached by the team behind the BBC’s The Apprentice.
Behind the Scenes of a Hit TV Show
Each season of The Apprentice sees a group of driven contestants living and working together in a high-end London property, with cameras rolling almost 24/7. The producers needed a trusted team to help transform the interior of the house — turning an empty space into a stylish, functional environment suitable for both living and filming.
That’s where we came in.
Our brief included three key elements:
- Secure storage of valuable items during pre-production
- Delivery, assembly, and styling of the house interior
- On-site construction of various decorative and functional elements
It was a job that called not just for logistics expertise, but for flexibility, confidentiality, and precision timing.
Secure Storage with Flexibility
Before any on-site work began, we received and securely stored dozens of items for the production team — everything from bespoke furniture and lighting to kitchenware, props, and artwork. Our climate-controlled warehouse ensured all pieces were kept in pristine condition, and our inventory system made it easy for the production team to track what had been received and what was still en route.
Installation & Interior Setup
Once filming was about to begin, we coordinated closely with the producers and art department to schedule delivery and installation. Our team managed:
- Careful transport of all stored items to the property
- Unpacking and placement according to a tight floor plan
- Assembly of flat-pack and custom-built furniture
- Minor decorative work, including hanging artwork and positioning props
Working under non-disclosure agreements and strict filming schedules meant we had to be fast, discreet, and adaptable — which we were.
Construction of Custom Fixtures
In addition to installation, we also built several bespoke features within the house. This included temporary partitions, branded display areas, and minor carpentry tasks. These elements had to look flawless on camera while still being removable once filming wrapped.
We provided all tools and labour, working hand-in-hand with the show’s set designers to ensure their creative vision was brought to life — all on a strict timeline.
The Result
The finished interior looked fantastic on screen and functioned perfectly behind the scenes — a testament to great teamwork, planning, and execution. We were proud to play a part in helping a major UK television production run smoothly and look its best.
